All contestants must check-in by 9:30 AM. If you are doing late beach registration be sure to bring the $15 entry fee and show up by 9:00 AM.
We have tons of stickers to give away as well as some prize bags for anyone placing in the top 3. As long as we have enough contestants we'll be making shirts and sending them to all contestants via mail.
We will see you at First St TOMORROW!

We hope everyone is ready for the contest TOMORROW! You can view the current weather report for tomorrow here. As of this morning there is a possible chance of rain but other than that the conditions look great. We'll keep you updated on the location, though we're tentatively announcing that First Street is the location. We hope to see you all there! AUGUST 1, 2011
Don't forget to register before the deadline on Friday. We currently have recieved our stickers and if you have signed up for the event we'll have them for you this Saturday at the event!
We're still getting t-shirts, but will likely not have those ready until after the event, but will send them to all registered contestants via postal mail. Lastly, we will have generous prize bags for all of the contestants placing in the top 3 in any division.
PS: We're sticking with keeping Skimfest to only one day on August 6.

Due to the overwhelming and popular response we've been receiving via e-mail, the number of registrations, as well as the large number of attendees on Facebook,
We may end up having to make this a two-day event.
As the date approaches and we get a better idea of the number of participants we'll update you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause anyone, we just want to make sure that everyone who wants to compete gets an opportunity to do so. This will be determined well before July 30th.

Coming up sooner than our competition is the OBX Skim Jam, which will be held in Kill Devil Hills, NC on July 23 & 24. Be sure to sign up at Skim City! And be sure to confirm your attendance via the Facebook event!

This website is to serve as an information center for the OBX Skimfest on August 6, 2011 in Kill Devil Hills, NC at ___________ St. This competition will be for the American Red Cross and donated towards their relief effort in Japan.
